Jaguar iPad App

Jaguar invited us to create an app for them that would instill their passionate belief that performance cannot be measured, only felt.

Challenge

The request was for us to create an iPad app that would allow the user to experience the performance, craftsmanship and innovation of their new F-Type range before visiting a retailer.


UI Design

As Art Director and Designer for this project, I decided that this experience would benefit from the use of sleek minimalism to complement the form of the cars and allow their features to be experienced and appreciated without distraction.

Key features associated with Jaguar’s ability to get pulses racing such as the sound of the engine were given extra focus. In this example, it would be possible to hear the different engine sounds straight from the app.

Augmented reality features were also included to allow the user to get a sense of the beauty and luxury of these cars before booking a test drive.
